The Camden County History Alliance was established in February 2016. It is an association of over 50 Camden County history organizations, historic assets, and support agencies. It was created to identify resources, increase the number of visitors, and institute projects that promote Camden County heritage.

The Camden County History Alliance publishes the Camden County Heritage magazine each spring and fall, with each edition featuring a different theme relating to Camden County's history. We appreciate the support of our advertisers and patrons whose contributions make it possible to distribute 10,000 copies free to the public throughout the county. In 2017, the Camden County History Alliance completed the Camden County History Alliance Survey funded by the New Jersey Historic Trust, through a state grant from the Discover New Jersey History License Plate Fund for Heritage Tourism.

The Camden County Heritage Tourism Plan was supported by the New Jersey Historic Trust from 2017 to 2018 through three (3) grants awarded to the Camden County Historical Society, the coordinator of the Camden County History Alliance.
