Camden County History Alliance

The Camden County History Alliance was established in February 2016. It is an association of over 50 Camden County history organizations, historic assets, and support agencies. It was created to identify resources, increase the number of visitors, and institute projects that promote Camden County heritage.

The Camden County History Alliance publishes the Camden County Heritage magazine each spring and fall, with each edition featuring a different theme relating to Camden County’s history.

The Camden County Heritage Trails Map & Guide links our historic sites & history organizations to seven Heritage Trails:

 
Built in Camden County; 20th Century Stories; African American Heritage; Women in History; Many Faces of Camden County; Colonial Times; and Rivers, Roads & Rails. Events during the year highlight each of these Heritage Trails.

CCHA Survey Report

In 2017, the Camden County History Alliance completed the Camden County History Alliance Survey funded by the New Jersey Historic Trust, through a state grant from the Discover New Jersey History License Plate Fund for Heritage Tourism.

Heritage Tourism Plan Report

The Camden County Heritage Tourism Plan was supported by the New Jersey Historic Trust from 2017 to 2018 through three (3) grants awarded to the Camden County Historical Society, the coordinator of the Camden County History Alliance.

Starting January 24, The Camden County Historical Society will have new hours! The Museum and Pomona Hall will be open Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.!
