The Camden County History Alliance was established in February 2016. It is an association of almost 50 Camden County history organizations, historic assets, and support agencies. It was created to identify resources, increase the number of visitors, and institute projects that promote Camden County heritage.
For more information, please visit the Camden County History Alliance on Facebook.
The Camden County History Alliance publishes the Camden County Heritage magazine each spring and fall, with each edition featuring a different theme relating to Camden County's history. We appreciate the support of our advertisers and patrons whose contributions make it possible to distribute 10,000 copies free to the public throughout the county. For more information about advertising, click on the advertising rate form above.
Camden County History Month was held in October 2019. It was a full month of history events, featuring exhibits, guided tours, reenactments and children's activities held at over 30 historic sites throughout Camden County! For more information, click the image above or visit www.camdencountyhistoryweek.com.
The Camden County Heritage Trails Map & Guide links our historic sites & history organizations to seven Heritage Trails:
Built in Camden County; 20th Century Stories; African American Heritage; Women in History; Many Faces of Camden County; Colonial Times; and Rivers, Roads & Rails. Events during the year highlight each of these Heritage Trails.
